Grow thoughtfully

Running your first A/B test

Change one thing and learn from real readers.

Start with a question: would a clearer headline encourage more readers to click? Write an alternative that changes only that element.

  • Choose one meaningful outcome, such as CTA clicks.
  • Keep the offer, price and traffic source as consistent as possible.
  • Let both versions receive enough comparable visits before deciding.
  • Don't treat a handful of clicks as a reliable winner.

If testing is available on your plan, use the editor's testing controls. Results describe what happened in that test, not a guaranteed future conversion rate. Keep the more understandable version if the evidence is inconclusive.
